4 Colors That Will Define The next Season
One thing I loved about the Spring/Summer 2027 shows is how much fun designers are having with color. After seasons of neutrals and muted tones, it's nice to see some brighter, more unexpected shades making their way back into the spotlight. From vibrant blues and fiery reds to a few softer hues, there's something for everyone, but here are the colors I'm keeping an eye on!
Aquamarine
Different shades of blue have already been trending this year, but I think we can expect aquamarine to dominate next season. It's bright, fun, and slightly unexpected, especially since it's not a color you see people wearing all that often. I'd love to see this shade on a silky shirt or a lightweight dress, as I think the fluidity of the fabric balances out the intensity of the color. If wearing it from head to toe feels like a little too much, try pairing it with white, denim or softer neutral tones. It's one of those colors that can make even a very simple outfit feel much more exciting, and I'd definitely save it for the spring/summer season.

Red
Red is not a new addition to our wardrobes, but there's something about the particular shade designers are embracing for Spring/Summer 2027 that makes me want to give it another chance. We're moving away from burgundy and deeper wine tones, making room for a much brighter, more straightforward red. What I particularly like about this trend is the idea of wearing red as a full look rather than limiting it to a handbag or a pair of shoes.

Yves Klein Blue
If you've ever wanted to experiment with a really bold shade of blue, this will be the moment.
Yves Klein blue, named after the French artist known for his iconic International Klein Blue, is one of those colors that doesn't need much introduction. It's intense, vibrant, and instantly recognizable, and I feel like it is a perfect, bold addition to your wardrobe. It can also work with pretty much any color, depending on the effect and the vibe you want to achieve.

Blood Orange
To be very honest, I'm not usually the first person to reach for orange, but the blood-orange shade we got to see on runways is making a pretty convincing case. Richer and slightly warmer than traditional tangerine, it is something between red and orange, and I feel like it is the perfect choice for coats or flowy dresses. It also has a slightly retro feel to it, which makes it especially interesting when paired with simple silhouettes. I'd also try it with chocolate brown, cream, or even soft pink if you're in the mood for something a little less predictable.
