My Favorite Moments From Copenhagen Fashion Week

There is something so effortlessly cool about the way Copenhagen Fashion Week does things because it is always polished, but not too much. It is also very trend-aware, but never looks like it’s trying too hard. And this season, there were a few moments I genuinely still can’t stop thinking about.

Baum und Pferdgarten show

If there was one collection that made me want to start building an entirely new Pinterest board immediately, it was Baum und Pferdgarten. Their Spring 2027 collection took ballet-core and gave it a distinctly Copenhagen twist.
Cropped, corseted satin jackets, tutu-shaped belts and legwarmers were all styled in a casual and playful way that gave very cool-girl vibes. The butter-yellow palette was another detail I absolutely loved, especially against the golden-hour setting in The King’s Garden.

By Malene Birger’s return

After six years away from the Copenhagen Fashion Week schedule, By Malene Birger made its return! There was relaxed tailoring, sheer eveningwear and a subtle 90s influence, but what I loved most was how wearable everything felt. It was polished without being overly styled, elegant without feeling too formal, and confident without trying to prove anything - and it all looked like something that would perfectly fit into my wardrobe.

Lace was everywhere

One of the biggest things I noticed this season was the return of lace, both on and off the runway. At OpéraSport, lace appeared across dresses, tops and layered looks, while The Garment took a different approach, mixing sculptural silhouettes with antique-inspired lace and embroidery.
It was everywhere in the street style too: lace headscarves, hair accessories, trimmed shorts and full head-to-toe looks. And that, to me, is always the real sign that a trend has legs.

Headbands are the new IT accessory

We’ve spent the past few seasons watching headscarves take over both runways and street style, but Copenhagen may have introduced a new contender for our hair accessory obsession: the thick elastic headband. Spotted at By Malene Birger, Baum und Pferdgarten, and Nicklas Skovgaard, these simple, hairline-covering headbands gave us a perfect retro look.
