Beaches in Europe You Need To Visit At least Once
I've been lucky enough to visit some truly incredible beaches around Europe, and every time I think I've found my favorite, another one surprises me! If you're planning a perfect summer getaway, and you want to make sure there are beautiful beaches around, then these are the spots I would always recommend.
Monte Clérigo Beach, Algarve, Portugal
If you're looking for a beach with a more relaxed vibe, Monte Clérigo is a great choice, and the whole Algarve region is one of the most beautiful parts of Europe. Surrounded by cliffs and the Atlantic Ocean, it's the perfect place to watch the sunset and enjoy fresh seafood.

Sveti Stefan, Montenegro
Sveti Stefan is one of the most famous beaches on the Adriatic coast. With its pink pebble beach, crystal-clear sea, and the famous island village in the background, it's one of those views I never get tired of, and I have been visiting this place for years. Even if you're just stopping for photos, it's absolutely worth the visit.

Tropea, Italy
Tropea is one of the most popular beaches in Europe, and you may think it is overhyped, but trust me, you want to see this place at least once in your life! The beach sits beneath dramatic cliffs topped with colorful old buildings, creating one of the most beautiful coastal views in Italy.
The water is also beautiful and so clear that you will just want to float in it and enjoy the beauty of this place.

Balos, Crete, Greece
Balos looks like a completely surreal place until you actually see it with your own eyes. With white sand, a turquoise lagoon, and mountains in the background, it's one of the most breathtaking beaches in Greece. You will need to make some effort to reach it, but make sure to ask locals for some help, and trust me, once you are there, you will realize why it is so special.

Blue Lagoon, Malta
The Blue Lagoon is one of Malta's most iconic spots, and this is also one of those places where the water is in an unreal shade of turquoise, making it perfect for swimming and snorkeling.
Even though the beach is mostly rocky rather than sandy, the scenery makes up for it. However, if you are not someone who likes to spend their afternoons on the rocks, you can just go for a walk, enjoy the view, and head somewhere else for a swim!

Cala Mesquida, Mallorca, Spain
Mallorca is one of the most popular summer locations, but Cala Mesquida is one of its hidden gems. The soft golden-white sand, turquoise water, and natural dunes make it feel more untouched than many of the island's busier beaches. If you like spending time in nature and you want to enjoy a beach day in a secluded place, then this is the right choice. It is a perfect antidote to the busy and noisy beach clubs in Mallorca.
