My Favorite Spots For A Relaxing Weekend

Traveling has always been one of my favorite ways to slow down, discover new places, and enjoy beautiful moments. I believe that even a short getaway can be enough to reset, explore, and create wonderful memories.
Some places simply have a special way of helping me unwind, so I wanted to share a few European spots that I think are perfect for a relaxing weekend escape.

Lake Como, Italy

Lake Como will always have a special place in my heart, and I have already written about it so many times on the blog, but it is one of those places that deserves to be mentioned again and again. The beautiful lake views, charming villages, and elegant Italian atmosphere make it truly unforgettable.
What I love most about this place is the feeling of calm it brings. Slow mornings next to the lake, peaceful walks, boat rides, and beautiful dinners with a view, it is the perfect place to escape the everyday routine, even if it is just for a weekend.

Porto, Portugal

Porto is a city full of charm and character. With its colorful buildings, beautiful river views, cosy cafés, and incredible food, it is the perfect destination for a relaxed weekend.
I love that Porto feels authentic and effortless, and that you can just spend hours simply wandering through the streets, discovering hidden corners, enjoying the atmosphere, and taking things at your own pace. I also really enjoy their food, so if this is one of your priorities, trust me, there is no better place to relax and enjoy some delicious meals!

Ljubljana, Slovenia

Ljubljana feels like a little European fairytale, and it is charming, peaceful, and incredibly easy to explore. It is also on the river, which gives it that special, relaxed energy, and its cafe culture makes it a wonderful place for a slow getaway, especially on summer days.
It is one of those destinations where you do not need a long list of plans, just walk around and enjoy beautiful views, cafes and restaurants.

Antibes, France

Antibes has that timeless French Riviera charm, but it is not as busy as Cannes or St Tropez, which makes it the perfect spot for a chill weekend. It is elegant but relaxed, with beautiful coastal views, a charming old town, and a wonderful atmosphere.
I love spending time walking by the harbor, discovering little cafés, and tanning on the beach. It also has some pretty cool museums, like the Musée Picasso, so if art exhibitions is something you like to do on a relaxing weekend, then this is the perfect city for you.
